Stress and Anxiety
Everybody suffers from stress at one time or another. As our society becomes more and more fast paced, we can sometimes struggle to keep up with the demands that are placed on us and our nervous systems become overworked, resulting in stress.
The adrenal glands need to be supported through times of stress. The adrenal glands are responsible for producing stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline, and when the stress response is triggered, these hormones are released. As the adrenal glands can become tired over time from over-work, this is an important part of stress and anxiety support. Stress may be caused by anything from the general demands of living in a big city, to relationship issues, studying for exams, juggling family and work commitments, illness, or worries about money. However there is help at hand, as stress can be managed through diet, lifestyle, and supplementation.
