Aromatherapy involves extracting essential oils from plants. Each essential oil has their own unique therapeutic properties, and aromatherapy uses these essential oils to improve our health and wellbeing.
Aromatherapy affects our mood and biochemistry in different ways depending on which oil is used. For example, they can be calming, uplifting, or energising.
They can be inhaled, used as a compress, used topically when added to a massage oil such as almond oil, or added to your bath.
