• Flaxseed oil (linseed)
Flaxseed oil is a vegetarian source of omega 3. Because flaxseed oil is from a vegetarian source, the alpha linolenic acid needs to be converted into useable forms of Omega 3 – which are EPA and DHA. (When taking fish oil, this conversion is already done for you). The conversion can be slightly less efficient, but is still an excellent vegetable-based form of Omega 3.
