Allergies are produced when the body’s immune system reacts to substances which are not normally considered harmful. In an allergic reaction, the body launches an attack on a foreign substance which has made contact with the body and can produce symptoms such as itching, rashes, hives, welts, wheezing, nasal congestion, or coughing. Allergies can result from contact with substances such as dust, pollen, chemicals, and foods such as peanuts, shellfish, eggs, and wheat.
Eczema and Asthma as allergic responses are covered in this section; but for your safety, any allergies must always be referred to your doctor.
